A blind filter rubber allows the barista to leave the portafilter basket in the portafilter and instead, simply put the blind rubber filter inside the portafilter for use with your detergent to back flush the group heads. The group heads can also be cleaned with the group head brush. Backflush at least once a day to avoid oil and particle build up in the group head if you want great coffee and longer coffee machine life.
